Boho hairstyles for short hair

I love having short hair. It makes me feel free. It’s hard to explain. For a long time, I hesitated to cut them. I found that short hair did not make enough boho for my taste…. I know it’s weird to say that… or maybe you understand me… But a girl feels what she feels.

But yet one day, I did it… and it was Shannyn Sossamon who inspired me! Who remembers this beauty from 40 days and 40 nights with Josh Hartnett?? :O :O

Clearly, that you can’t make braids or have the typical look of the boho girl. Is that so? Because all boho girls have long hair… But I surely know better now and am sure that we, shorthair girls can still have the BOHO look. We can for sure, manage and found our own way to style our hair even if it’s short.

But I must admit that as soon as they start to grow, it’s not obvious. I decided I didn’t want to always be at the hairdresser to fix them. Actually, I go to the hairdresser once a year (sometimes twice).  They are so expensive. Don’t get me wrong, I love to go there. But, I am on a budget.

On Pinterest, you can find cute ways to fix them. I love to try new styles and I hope I will inspire you to get you hair cut if you always want it to try but that you haven’t had the guts yet 😉

With a headband.

There are so many beautiful ones. Usually they are cheap and you can have lots of colorful ones to match your outfits.

I found this one years ago too and I love it. It’s attached with feathers.

A bun with your bangs.

Well, it’s not only with your bangs. You can take hair from the sides. I just love to do that. My bangs grow pretty fast actually and I just hate it when they are in front of my eyes. So, this is one of my favorite ways.

I will never forget, this one time, a girl aged around 15, reached out to me via Instagram and told that she finally did it! She had cut her hair. She loved it. But was struggling with the fact that her friends mocked her…

Well at this young age, we can say that what other people think is far more important than at my age for example (41).
